Growing up, Dave Adams’ next door neighbor was an elderly paleontologist with stacks of old National Geographic magazines in his basement. He used to show Dave old dinosaur bones and let him look through those magazines. Dave hoped to someday have adventures traveling and meeting the people he saw in the pages. After finishing college, he was able to talk his way into a job in the equipment room at National Geographic where he learned all about using cameras and developed a love for filmmaking.
Dave is based in Brooklyn, NY, working as a cinematographer and director/cinematographer with a background in documentary storytelling. Some past clients include: Samsung, Adidas, National Geographic, New Balance, Netflix, Arcade Fire, IBM, Universal Music Group, Ogilvy, Barack Obama, Stonyfield and Facebook. He is now a licensed and insured FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot.
